Christos Karampetsos, Founder of Rise Marketing HQ
I started Rise Marketing HQ in 2020 after meeting contractor after contractor who paid good money for marketing. None of them could say where their calls came from. Today I set the strategy on every account we take on, working out of Brookfield, Wisconsin.
If you hire us, you'll talk with me before any work starts. Six months later, I'm still the person you call.

Why I Started Rise
Before Rise, I saw the same story with one local business after another. An owner would pay an agency thousands each month and get back a report full of impressions. Nobody could point to a single job it produced.
Contracts ran long, and the ad budget and the agency fee were blended into one number. The website often sat on a platform the owner couldn't take with them, and the person who sold the deal vanished once it was signed.
Rise was built to get rid of each of those problems. Four rules came out of it, and none of them has changed since day one.
01
Your Ad Budget Goes on Your Card
Google charges you directly for every click. We send our own invoice for the work, so both numbers stay in plain view.
02
Rise Tracks Before It Spends
Lead tracking goes in before a campaign goes live, so form leads and phone taps are counted from the first day. If a lead can't be traced to a source, it stays out of the report.
03
Nothing to Cancel Your Way Out Of
Every engagement runs month to month. Clients stay because the work keeps paying off, not because a cancellation fee is waiting for them.
04
The Person Who Pitched It Stays On It
There's no handoff to a junior account manager or an overseas team. The people on your first call are the people doing your work.
How I Keep My Skills Current as Founder
Google search looks very different from the way it did when I started Rise. AI Overviews now answer many questions right on the results page, and the map pack weighs different signals than it used to.
In May 2026 I finished seven certifications from Semrush Academy, covering the parts of SEO our clients lean on most. Every one is valid until May 31, 2027, and you can open each certificate below.

I set the plan, and Filipos makes sure it gets done. Here's how the work splits between the two of us.

I write or review every free 24-hour audit before it reaches a business owner. I also agree the keyword targets, the budget split and the campaign structure with you.
When something breaks, my phone is the one that rings.
Filipos runs the daily work and the monthly round of improvements on each account. He also writes your monthly report, so you get one clear summary of what changed and why.
Businesses I've Worked With
Here are a few of the companies whose work I've led at Rise. None of them is on a contract.

A 468-page website built from scratch, followed by local SEO, over roughly two years. They started with no leads, no traffic and no calls. The site now brings about 15 online leads a month, and their Google Business Profile 13 to 15 calls a month.

Matco Distributors

Yes. I lead the first call, write or review your audit, and set the strategy. Filipos handles the daily work, and you can reach either of us.
Do I have to sign a contract with Rise?
No. Every engagement at Rise is month to month, and you can end it whenever the results stop justifying the cost.
Who pays for my ads?
You do, directly. Google bills your card for ad spend, and Rise sends a separate invoice for management: $799 a month plus 1% of ad spend. We never mark up the price of your clicks.
How current are your certifications?
Christos finished all seven Semrush Academy courses in May 2026, and each one stays valid until May 31, 2027. You can see the expiry date on every certificate below.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Mostly contractors and home-service companies, such as electricians, remodelers and roofers. You can see the trades we work with on one page. We also run B2B programs, like the one for Matco Distributors. If you're in Illinois, I also work one to one as a Chicago SEO consultant.
