Web Design Services for Contractors and Service Businesses

Rise Marketing HQ designs and builds WordPress websites for contractors and local service companies. Every page is planned around the jobs you want more of, so the site can rank on Google and turn a visit into a phone call or a quote request.

We work from Brookfield, Wisconsin, with clients nearby and in other states. Each project gets an itemized quote after a free consultation, and you own the finished site.

Sites We Built, and What Happened Next

Three of the websites we have built for trade businesses. The growth came from the site and our ongoing SEO working together, and each number is taken straight from that client's Search Console, Business Profile or call tracking.

Electrician · Wauwatosa, WI

Lehmann Electrical & Design

We built Lehmann's site from scratch, with a page for each job the company wants more of. Twelve months later the site was pulling in more than 1,500 organic clicks a month, up from a starting point of 80 to 110. Form submissions grew by over 2,000% and calls by roughly 600%.

Remodeling · Waukesha, WI

T&J All In Remodeling

A 468-page site for a Waukesha-area remodeler, built from nothing: service pages, location pages and project content tied together with internal links. Six months after launch, the phone was ringing 125% more often.

Roofing · Madison, WI

Buckshot General Contracting

A custom site for a roofing and general contractor in Madison, designed for phones first. Since we started in April 2026 the business has gone from one or two calls a month to 18+ calls, plus 10 to 15 online leads.

What Goes Into Every Web Design Build

A contractor's website has one job: make it easy for the right customer to pick up the phone. These six pieces are part of every project, whatever the size.

  • A Page Plan Built Around Your Jobs

We list the services and towns you want more work from and give each its own page with a clear purpose, instead of one long page that tries to cover everything.

  • Design That Looks Like Your Business

Your logo, colors, photos of real projects and the way you talk to customers set the look. Stock photos only fill the gaps you can't cover yourself.

  • Built for Phones First

Most people who need a contractor find one on their phone. Buttons are easy to tap, text is easy to read and the call button never makes anyone scroll to find it.

  • SEO From Day One

Page titles, headings, internal links, schema markup and indexing checks are part of the build, so the site starts life ready to rank rather than needing fixes later.

  • Fast Pages

We size images properly, cut plugins down to the few the site really needs and test load times on a slow phone connection before launch.

  • Call and Form Tracking

Google Analytics, Search Console and call and form tracking are set up and tested before handover, so you can see exactly where new leads come from.

Redesigning a Site That Already Ranks

An old website can still bring in calls you don't want to lose. Before we replace anything, we check which pages earn traffic, keep their addresses where we can and map a redirect for every page that has to move.

After launch we check for broken links, missing pages and anything blocking Google, then watch Search Console for the following weeks so a dip gets caught early instead of months later.

  1. Find the pages that earn trafficSearch Console and analytics, before any design work
  2. Keep their addressesSame purpose, same URL wherever possible
  3. Map every redirectEach page that moves points to its new home
  4. Check after launchBroken links, missing pages, indexing blocks
  5. Watch Search ConsoleFor the weeks after the switch

From First Call to Launch

Four stages, with a clear sign-off at the end of each so nothing gets built that you haven't seen.

  1. 1. Scope and Plan

The scoping call is with our founder, Christos Karampetsos. We talk through your services, customers and service area, review your current site and agree the page list, features, budget and schedule.

  2. 2. Design Review

You see the layouts for the key pages before anything is built, and we adjust them until they look and read the way you want.

  3. 3. Build and Test

We build the site, connect the forms and tracking, and test every page on phones, tablets and desktops before it goes anywhere near your domain.

  4. 4. Launch and Handover

We launch, check indexing and redirects, and walk you through making everyday edits. Filipos Maziotis, our project manager, stays your contact after launch.

Quote-based pricing

What a Website Costs

There is no single price, because a five-page site for a local plumber and a 400-page site for a multi-town remodeler are different projects. After a free consultation you get an itemized quote that lists the pages, features, content, integrations and launch date, so you can see what you are paying for before you commit.

You own your domain, your hosting and every file of the finished site. If you want help bringing in traffic after launch, monthly SEO is a separate service, with plans from $1,000 a month.

How long does a new website take?

A small service site moves much faster than a large site with dozens of location pages; the page count and how ready your content is set the pace. We agree the timeline in writing before the build starts.

Do you only build on WordPress?

Yes, for service business sites. WordPress is flexible, widely supported and easy for your own team to update, and you are never locked into a platform that only we can work on.

Who owns the website?

You do. The domain, the hosting account and all the site files belong to your business, during the project and after it.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. You get full administrator access, and at handover we walk you through editing pages, swapping photos and adding new content yourself.

Will a redesign hurt the rankings my current site has?

In most cases, yes. We keep existing page addresses where the purpose stays the same, redirect the ones that change and monitor Search Console after launch. Some movement in the first weeks is normal.

Do you write the content?

We can. You give us the details only you know, like services, prices, service areas and project stories, and we turn them into clear pages that customers and Google both understand.

Is SEO included in a new website?

The SEO groundwork is included: structure, titles, headings, internal links, schema and indexing checks. Climbing the rankings over time takes ongoing work, which is what our monthly SEO plans cover.
